My wife and have been diving for over 16 years, our experience with Ed Robinson's Group was one of the smoothest ran operations we had dealings with. Experienced dive masters and great caring people. We dove with Ed Robinson's 6 years ago. I still like Bonaire Better! For sea life!

We enjoyed our 5 days of diving with Ed, Paul, and Al in Oct. Ed still makes a great dive guide as well as the rest of the crew! Great memories of lots of old finny friends all dressed in different outfits from their usual style in the Caribbean! Thanks for a special vacation!

Had an awesome two tank dive with my two sons Rich and Erik on November 22 with Capt. Billy, Sue and Roger. Boat was very squared away, staff was quite professional and the dives were great. You can rest assured we will return on our next visit to your special paradise.

Great website ! I used your website to help book my hotel, so I can be close to diving. I plan on doing at least one charter dive, but would like to do some shore dives also. I'll be going to Kilei in April, and need shore dive buddies. I'll be staying at the Maui Mana Kai.

Thanks a ton for the most pleasurable dive experiance I have ever had . I have had the good fortune to do a lot of world traveling over the years including dive trips in Australia and the Carribien . I can say without question that you guys run the best operation on the water as far as I am concerned . Your knowledge ,patience , and attenton to your clients are unequaled . Al,Dan ,Renee,Byrd, and Bill were all wonderful . I have to save a special thanks for John who was just great . My wife and I were on our honeymoon . She is a new diver , having just been certified and was more than a little nervous. Thank God for John who was able to make her relax and enjoy the underwater surroundings through both his knowldge of the diving and his enthusiasm for the wildlife . We can't wait to come back , hopefully next year . Your entire staff was a delight .That is a rare occurance in this day and age . Thanks again ,we look forward to seeing you again. Words really cannot express the diving with ERDA. I've already recommended you guys to several folks and will continue to do so. We dove with a couple operations there on Maui and no one compares with ERDA. We look forward to our next opportunity to check in on Garbanzo and get a good look at that flame angel that so quickly ducked out of sight. Byrd, John, Paul, Kim--a thousand thanks for your cheerful and patient attitudes, clear pre-dive briefings, and relaxed awareness of all the divers in the water. May the batteries in your shark tip-jar never run out! Ed, give these guys a raise, they are outstanding! How will I face the 45-degree water of my local dive sites? Evelyn, don't come back, you will just be dissapointed. Take care and mahalo.

Dear Sue, Congratulations on the addition of your new dive vessel, Sea Spirit. From reading today's Maui News I also learned that you are responsible for the marketing and promotion of ERDA, which is the reason I'm writing. Three years ago I opened my own company, HAWAIIAN HIKING CO.(http://www.maui.net/~hihiking) and have accounts with the Four Seasons, Kea Lani and the Hyatt but feel that there is room for growth. I would appreciate your feedback on some ideas I currently have. Mahalo, Rich

Just wanted to say "THANKS" r a super dive experience. We returned to the mainland yesterday and are already planning our next dive trip to Maui. We saw manta rays, sharks (white-tip and gray reef), turtles, octopus, eels, dolphins and so much more (too much to mention). The night dive was my first and really blew me away. A special thanks to all of the crew we dove with!!!! You certainly delivered "the goods". We especially liked the fun-loving, glad-to-be-alive nature of John (a.k.a. Sven) who made those early mornings easier to deal with. ERDA will be highly recommended to anyone planning on diving in Maui.

We've told everybody that we dove six times. Three dives were totally great, and the other three were totally awesome. We dove with Paul the first day, he was a great guide, a patient coach (ask Deb) and all around fun guy. Renee' dove with us on our last two days. She was also an incredible guide, a patient coach (ask Deb again) and a lot of fun. We will never dive with another group in Maui. Thanks for everything, especially the patience and encouragement (ask Deb one more time). Thanks again!!Deb and Jeff

My son and I had a fabulous experience with your crew. It was professional, educational, safe and FUN! It was nice to have a crew that was excited to take you diving. Renee's knowledge of the sea life was incredible. It made the dives fly by when your looking for all things she told you to look for - white tip sharks, garden eels, the spanish dancers, manta rays and several rare types of fish. Dan's patience and helpful personality is an asset to your company. I am recommending you to any one interested and will definitely be looking forward to seeing you next summer!

I have not yet gotten over jet-lag from the trip home, but I couldn't wait to tell you what a great time Ben and I had with your crew. So mucn of the pleasure of diving is due to the attitude and approach of the dive masters that we attribute a lot of the fun to you all. As you say, "thanks for taking us diving".

This is our second trip diving with DA in the last three years. We haven't found a more hospitable group of diving professionals. Very patient, knowledgeble, and experienced. The crew is very accommodating without being babysitters. I'd reccommend ERDA to any experienced divers wanting to SCUBA on MAUI! The 3-Tank Advanced Dive is an awesome experience.

Just a note of thanks to Capt rd, Capt Billy and most of all AL. I was never so spoiled as when I boarded your boats on the evening of the 24 and the morning of the 25 of June. Al was very knowledgeable, great to dive and talk to. I am a PADI instructor and if I have any students that would like to do their open water checkout in Hawaii I would not think twice about recommending Al. Thanks for a great time, hope to be diving with you again. Tim Schmieding

Thought I'd take advantage of this comment page to say how much we miss your great dive trips, especially those wonderful night dives. I will never forget my first night dive (our very first 15 open water dives were in Maui in June '98). Billy, will you ever forget my "squid" encounter? 10 full minutes with a squid lovingly matching the color of my nail polish and sitting in my hand, playing, and when it was time for me to come up (at 500psi) nestling back into my hand begging me to stay ? We all cried over that one. Plus I have the pics to prove it. Well, I've had another "squid encounter" in Florida a few weeks ago (2 squids this time) who also loved my "dive" nail polish just as much as all the other critters I've had the fortune of interacting with. We have also completed not only our advanced course, but our 120th dive in a year's time! My very favorite of them all is Red Hill in Nov '98. It seems every critter in the Hawaiian islands is found there. You couldn't get me out of there. Next time I'll use Nitrox and stay down for 3 hours instead of 1 and 1/2. Nor will we forget our "Adventure" off the backwall when the Mauna Kea died. When we return I'm sure we'll finally get that 3rd tank in. Kudos to the entire crew, especially Renee & Al. Although i never wanted to SCUBA, you helped make me love it. Can't wait to join you again.

Hello! I have to say that we did not get to experience the Ed Robinson's crew - as we were just certified in Maui. However our instructor that certified us was Al Cembaluk - and he was that best dive instructor!!!! I never would have considered SCUBA diving until I made it to Maui and we met Al. He knows so much about diving and is always concerned about safety - he is the major reason that I am a certified diver today!! All the dives were great - and I am looking forward to the next dive adventure. Please pass my best regards on to Al - and by the way - good luck with the wedding in November!!! Thanks again. Ed Robinson's has outstanding customer service! I mistakenly left my regulator and gauges on the dive boat, and then left the island without realizing I had lost them. It took Sue Robinson six months of work to figure out who they belonged to and where I lived, but she took the time, made the effort, and returned them to me, before I even knew I had lost them! Thanks Sue and Ed! I will ALWAYS dive with you guys when I'm on the islands! Mark Lucas Phoenix, AZ

Once again enjoyed some great diving on my most recent trip to Maui. Thanks especially to Renee who was there for all 8 of my dives. Glad to see Paul and Billy again and to meet Al and Dan, although I missed Steve and Glen. I got a great picture of the Spanish Dancer Renee persuaded to do its 'shimmy' on our night dive and a couple of species that were new to me - the Masked Angel and Whitley's Trunkfish. I did miss the Mana Kai but look forward to seeing your new boat on my next trip. Hope the 3-tank 'adventure' outings will be back on a regular schedule by then Thanks again and aloha all. Ann Dawes. P.S.I'm really enjoying the screen saver and Wallpaper images that I downloaded onto my office computer....they give me daily reminders of my trips to Maui - and provoke a lot of questions from both patients and colleagues. Thanks for making them available, Ed.

Wow! What a great time we had. We were recently certified before our trip to Maui. This was our second diving adventure after certification. I think we hit the pinnacle of diving experiences. Ed Robinson's is going to be a tough act to follow. This is truly a first class operation The knowledge that Al and Rene have about the marine life and habits of all the underwater critters is truly amazing. I still can't believe how Al finds all the stuff down there. He stopped and pointed to things that normally would be unnoticed. He must have some sort of underwater x-ray vision. I would highly recommend Ed Robinson Diving Adventures to anybody planning to visit Maui regardless of their diving experience level. You will be made to feel at home. If you are a novice diver, they have no problem giving you that little extra time and attention needed. The laid back style of the crew, knowledge of diving, the biology 101 lessons prior to each dive made for an extremely enjoyable two days. We feel as though we made three friends in Maui: Al, Rene and Dan. Watch out for Dan's driving. He got us all wet on the way back. Just kidding Dan. Dan made sure he found the perfect dive sites to meet the daily conditions. He even rescued two snorkelers who managed to find the current and were well on their way out to sea. He didn't even charge extra for this little side adventure. Guys, we will treasure the memories from the time we spent with you and will definitely dive with you again when we return to Maui.

My new husband and I went diving on 5/14 with Byrd, Al and Kim as a last adventure on our honeymoon. It was a great dive and very exciting going to the south side of Molokini. We are both quite new divers and when my husband got very seasick, Byrd took him back to the shore after the first dive but I stayed on to finish the second dive. Al "took me under his wing" and made sure all went well since my dive buddy/husband was on the shore. It was great. As a result of that second dive, I was the first one on our dive team to see the Manta Ray. Thanks again for a great time. Rupasi Young

I have got to say that your crew is the BEST anywhere in the world. I did day and night dives with Divemaster Paul. He made all my dives very enjoyable. Me being a divemaster my self gives me insight as just how good All your crew is. I like how we all had fun. Your crew seemed like long time friends the minute I got on the boat I'm sure I made some long time friends with your crew. The one thing that impressed me the most is how quick your whole crew remembered ever one's name. From this time on I will only be diving with only one diving crew from MAUI YOURS!!

Just returned from Maui after diving with your crew on April 26. We greatly appreciated your professional, knowledgable and caring staff. We required alot of assitance (i.e. major pain in the neck) from DM Paul and he took great care to make sure we were safe, happy and enjoyed our dives to the fullest. Also loved Billy and his limericks and "bad" duck jokes. We truly had a wonderful time. Enjoyed your most excellent website. Thanks again. We look forward to returning to MAUI soon for more great diving and jokes. Trish Nicholls and Mary Anne Mosey Spokane, WA

Just wanted to say we had a wonderful experience diving Molokini crater and Red Hill. Although, there were two newly certified divers diving with us, we were still allowed to dive with minimal supervision and enjoyed the experience. When the two new divers returned to the boat due to low air, we were allowed to continue our dive. Saw lots of fish including the rare masked angel in Molokini and green turtles at Red Hill. I have dove all over the world and would definitely recommend any level of diver going on a dive adventure with this group. The pre dive briefing regarding safety issues and potential wildlife we might see was professionally done and added to the value of the trip. Thanks to all.

Myself and 2 friends had a wonderful time diving with Bird and crew. We particularly enjoyed the laid back demeanor on the part of the crew. These folks do it right. None of that hurry in and hurry out business. The dive leaders had all logged over 7,000 dives and really knew the dive sites well. After our first dive Bird(dive master)predicted the order of our return to the boat for future dives. He had us nailed to a person. As novice divers we really appreciated being in the care of these fine folks. Weather would not permit Cathedral Caverns but the back side of Molokini was awesome. I was impressed with the restraint of Kim when she had to impress upon one of the divers in the group that he must not dive his tank to "no air" again. I think I would have been jumping up and down yelling, "have you lost your mind", or something such. We saw lots of wild life including "Wildman" who was rather reserved at the time. Thanks to you all and my personal apologies. My pals and I are so new at this sport that we did not realize a gratuity would have been in order to express our appreciation. I promise to make up to you on our next vist.

I was one of the other 3 divers on the trip with Jeff and Genny. Even though everyone on the boat was looking forward to diving the back side of Molokini, we were releived that Dan chose to turn back to calmer water. The two dives we had that morning were very enjoyable, apposed to a case of seasickness. Dan and John were professional and A pleasure to dive with. Thanks

Let me add to the comments of satisfied divers. We have always dove with another dive shop in Maui. Good people (24 good people in our last boat) but we wanted a more personal experience. On 4/5/99 we tried ERDA. With Dan (captain), John (Dive Master) and 3 other divers we had a far superior trip. I have always wanted to dive the back side of Molokini but was impressed when Dan turned back due to Southern swells. (Later at the Harbor we talked to other divers who did the back side in uncomfortable conditions and 12 foot vis). The rest of the day was perfect. John and Dan had a friendly, personal attitude while still focusing on service, good diving, and safety. Thanks again. See you next year.

Hey- Just wanted to drop you folks a line letting you know how much I'm missing Maui, and all of the wonderful diving that you helped me experience last November. Now that I've been looking around your website- I'm remembering how incredible the diving is there. And with all of the customer service that your crew provides, it is a winning combination.
