I just wanted to thank Amy, Fish, Byrd, Kim, and Billy for the great diving. It was a great way to spend my 30th birthday! My husband and I have dove with many outfits all over the world, and yours is top notch. Thanks for the professional treatment and fun underwater tours.

We had the BEST time with Kim, Mark, Scotty, Billy, Byrd and John! Great crew, experienced and smart, they gave us a terrific time and great dives. They know the area like few others and they really care about your experience. We did the premier dive on Monday, the 3-tank "adventure" dive on Tuesday (weather permitted a trip south for some rarely dived and excellent sites), Lanai on Wednesday (the first Cathedral is our favorite site) and the night dive on Thursday -- all excellent and well worth every penny. Can't say enough about how great they were. Thanks, guys, for a great time and thanks, Ed and Suzzy, for hiring them!

we really enjoyed our dive and the crew was also great. on 11 sept. 2001 my doughter who is now attending NYU lived the horor of that day. i'm sure she would love to return to hawaii to dive again.right now can't seem to get pass the idea that these people are trying to kill us. and make no mistake about that. live in peace is a great concept but let us not forget one has to be alive to do that

My friends and I spent almost a week of diving during the first week of Oct with Ed Robinsons crew and had an awesome time. After three years of live-aboard diving, I never thought that I'd have a good experience with a land based outfit. I was wrong. Ed has a great crew (Kim and Bird, Scotty, Ricardo, Amy and John) and very nice dive boats. The next time I'm in Maui, I'll definite be using this dive company again. Great diving for both advanced and beginner divers.

The reason my wife Marilyn and I ended up diving with Ed Robinson's was simply because anyone we asked, from our local dive shop SCUBA-guru, to the dive shop we stopped in on the North Shore of Oahu, to the outfit we dived with on Kauai; all said ED ROBINSON'S. We now know what they all knew and that ERDA was the first and best choice. The service was impecable, organized, methodical, and timely mostly due to experience and teamwork. The equipment we rented (BC's, Regs, Computers) all functioned properly and without error or malfunction. The boats were spacious, comfortable, well equipped and diver-friendly. The between dive pastry snacks were delicious and the post-dive salty snacks and beverages really hit the spot. The stickers we got to put in our log books are really cool. The shirts we bought from the "Boatique" will be worn often and remind of us our adventures. However...that is not what gives ERDA the reputation it has gotten by the testimony of those who have gone down with them. What really impressed us was the encyclopedia-like knowledge of the crew pertaining to the history of the Hawaiian culture as it related to the sea, marine life, and dedication to environmental and preservation issues. The pre-dive briefing (education), including the use of books and photographs was instrumental in knowing what to look for and how to recognize certain things (Frog Fish). My wife and I had focused primarily on large pelagics in our previous dives (Sharks, Mantas, Barracuda, Eagle Rays) and thanks to the ERDA crew, we now have a greater appreciation for the smaller things we may have missed elsewhere (Fang Blennies, Mantis Shrimp, Leaf Fish, Nudibranchs). The diving was great! Great weather, great visibility (even during the South-swell), lots and lots of Green Sea Turtles!!! But... what brought Marilyn and I back again and again (two dives each to: Molokini Crater, Red Hill, Hawaiian Reef, one each to: Wreck of the St. Anthony, and Back Wall of Molokini) was how comfortable and safe we felt with the crew of ERDA. We liked the feeling of being part of the ERDA family... and that is just how everyone acts..as if they are all one big family. We really are going to miss you: Billy, Scotty, Johnny, Byrd, Kim, Mark, Amy, and Greg. So, if anyone asks us who we would dive with on Maui, there would only be one answer... ED ROBINSON'S !! Thanks for the Memories. David ( & Marilyn ) Komessar p.s. Thanks to Scotty for recommending "Birds of Prey"

To Ed and His Crews, Donald, Daniel and I enjoyed another great round of dives with Mark, Fish, Ricardo, Scotty, John and Amy. Your operation is to be commended for both the quality and the consistency of service, the dive masters pointing out great finds, and I don't think any of us will forget the dolphin ride that Fish got off of the Molokini Wall. Again, thanks for providing my Boys and I with truly exceptional dives and service. Should anyone be looking for a recommendation - don't hesitate to have them contact me - and we hope we can make it again next year!!! You set a standard that other Dive Operator's seldom come close too!

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience Christy and I had while diving with Ed Robinson's July 1st, 4th and 5th. Byrd, Kim, Amy, Fish, Sotty and Mark were all great. We especially enjoyed Byrd's briefings on the geological and/or Hawaiian history of the site as well as Amy's enthusiastic animal life briefings. One thing that I feel sets your operation apart from the other operations that I've dived with in the past is the fact that all of the crew seemed to be having as much fun as we were. We also liked the fact that each crew member would come by and chat with us for a few minutes several times during each trip. It really made us feel welcome. The next time We are in Maui, Ed Robinson's will definitely be our first choice for diving.

I want to thank the staff of Ed Robinson's Diving Adventures for the awesome diving experience I had while diving with your operation. On May 1st and May 4th I was aboard for your "Three tank Adventure Trip". Beginning with the booking of the trip with Evalyn and continuing when I arrived in Maui I found your organization friendly, professional and educational. I am a active Divemaster and have never found such service on another boat. The crews are great and they know where to find ANYTHING.........just ask. I enjoyed the "flexability" that you gave experienced divers and the attention to small details (like remembering your name). From the whale songs to the visit with "King" I had some of the best diving that I have experienced. Thank you

Thank you KIM,BYRD,FISH, AND ANNE! I've been back home (Oakland, Ca)for a week now and am still smiling from the dives you shared with me. You were professional, friendly, laid back, and displayed amazing skill and knowlege with the marine animals. As a divemaster with 21 years diving experience I appreciated the confidance you displayed by letting me dive my own way. I began my training as a divemaster after being disappointed with divemasters I encountered travelling, Kim's work was a representation of "how it's done" and added another whole level of intrest and education to the dives. While I did'nt dive with either Fish or Ann, their excitement about the marine environment and intrest in the guidebooks stood in stark contrast to any other crew I've seen work, more "how it's done" perfection. Byrd, frankly, your ability to immediately memorize all of our names frightened me badly. Thanks for the discussions on nitrox and decompression theory, and for your expert knowledge of the underwater topography and current. Although our sport has changed much over the last 20 years, you guys embody the old spirit of diving. Many of my diver friends seemed dismissive of Maui's diving opportunities, but I was truly blown away. I'll look forward to my return, and on returning to dive one of your fine boats. Thanks Capt.Bird, Capt. Billy, Capt.John, Amy, Mark, Kim and Fish! Date : April 02-06, 2001. Had an awesome 5 days of diving! My brother and I couldn't have made a better decision by booking our dives with you folks. It was amazing looking at Manta Ray's feeding at Mid-Reef or listening to Whale songs at "Battleship" pinnacle. Of course, nothing less than spectacular can be said at our experience of starring at "Alien", the Giant Pacific Moray and the Dolphin called "The King". Take care you guys and I hope too dive with your group again!

Another great dive trip to Maui, thanks to your wonderful staff...Mark and Kim especially this year made my dives 'experiences' to remember. Of course, the huge dolphin at Battleship and the gargantuan eel at Cathedrals I also contributed. Will be back early next year hopefully; in the meantime, your screen saver on my office PC is a daily joy and reminder.

Just returned from doing 3 days of diving on Maui and was very impressed with the quality of all the operators we dove with. We found Robinson to be top notch for Molokin Severns was also good for South Maui and for Lanai "Exteneded Horizons" was amazing with their attention to detail. All boats had excellent briefings and were very safety conscious. After diving with these 3 companies I would be hard pressed to find better safer or more informed and helpful dive boats. Thank you!

You restored our faith in diving. We dove with Ricardo on April 24th, 2001. We did the outside wall of Molokini, and had the best dive we'd had in all of Hawaii (we've also done the Big Island and Kauai). Our other dives on Maui had ranged from okay to absolutely awful (Extended Horizons out of Lahaina, which was far more interested in selling photographs than leading a good dive. We were horrified and almost ready to quit the sport altogether after that experience.) We've done Palau, Little Cayman, and some of the other great dives of the world, so we've been around. Your operation (thanks to Ricardo, Fish, and the wonderful boat captain whose name we can't remember, though he was great at remembering ours) was a breath of fresh air on an overcommercialized island. Thank you very much!

I have early onset Parkinson's. DAN says I'm a no go for diving. Is there any info on this issue. My Neurologist doesn't see it as an issue at this point. This is based on his evaluation of the progress of my disease. Need other input.

Hi, we just returned from Maui and would like to comment on your wonderful opertaion! We've been diving in many places and our trips with you were excellent!!! Byrd's crew (Fish, Amy, Kim, & Greg) we're great in all aspects of working a great dive operation. We've never had such great pre-dive talks and follow-up after the dive. Your crew makes going on vacation, truely, a vacation! Hope to be back again someday. Thanks so much!

Thank you for helping to make my birthday my very best of all. The dive boat was very comfortable and the captain and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. Diving could not have been better... and for a bonus... "LOOK DOWN" was all I remember through the excitement, as the humpback swam directly under the Ed Robinson dive boat!!!The captain, crew and divers were cheering. I have it all on video. Rob and I will never forget the great time. Thanks again

March 17, 2001, St, Patrick's Day, was very memorable for me. The dives I made with you were perhaps the most efficiently run diving I have ever experienced. The crew of Byrd, Roberto, Amy and Sherry gave great attention to detail and to making sure all on board were comfortable and satisfied with the diving. I have been diving since 1967, and can honestly say this was the best dive operation I have ever experienced. I will be back - maybe even this year in August. And, I will definitely dive with Ed Robinson's Diving Adventures. Thanks for a great trip.

We (a group of 5) took the 3-tank-dive with Bert and Kim. While we were preparing for our second Molokini dive, Bert mentioned we might see a large Manta (which he descibed as "..about 20', with a 4' remora hanging off his back, with two bright silver jacks swimming with it.."). Sure thing, Bert. So we jumped in the water and were descending through 60'---we hadn't been in the water 3 minutes---and HERE'S A 20' MANTA WITH A 4' REMORA WITH TWO BRIGHT SILVER JACKS SWIMMING WITH IT!!! Diving with Kim and visiting with Bert and Kim was a pure pleasure. I'm not sure how much you're paying Kim and Bert...but it's not enough!

The Dive I have dreamed about !!!! The Lanai Cathedral trip last week was excellent ! I had 6 "keepers " from each roll of film ( way above my usuall average!! But the most fufilling was being completely SURROUNDED BY HUNDREDS OF SPINNER PORPOISE (Dolphins) !!!! Great job and a little luck made this one of my most memorable dives !!!
